This is a spectacular place to come play golf and if you want a really special treat look up Western Canadian Golf Tours. They'll provide you with a helicopter to shepherd you around. It's an absolutely wonderful way to travel around in this part of British Columbia. It’s really a brilliant idea for this part of the country which has so many amazing courses but which have some distance between them.

West Kootenay Region
From the beautiful shores of Kootenay Lake to the wonderful hippie town of Nelson the West Kootenay's offer a great variety of courses sure to impress the most discerning of clients. The region offers our guests the opportunity to play golf in the morning and fish for 35 pound Gerrard Rainbow Trout in the evening. Watch for plenty more golf designers to make this area home to their next masterpiece. Annika Sorenstam has plans for an 18 hole development in Rossland to add her name to the region.
