This is a spectacular place to come play golf and if you want a really special treat look up Western Canadian Golf Tours. They'll provide you with a helicopter to shepherd you around. It's an absolutely wonderful way to travel around in this part of British Columbia. It’s really a brilliant idea for this part of the country which has so many amazing courses but which have some distance between them.

Gary Browning is gaining a reputation for amazing mountain golf challenges. He has mastered the lay of the land with this design and worked together with nature to blend his golf holes seamlessly into it. Wide open links and treed fairways make this course 18 separate golf challenges.

The Ridge at Copper Point

Weighing in at only 5042 yards this course makes up for its length with incredible elevation changes and overall difficulty. Supposedly the course record is a 3 over par. Considering the long course record is 62 or a whooping 8 under par. New on course accommodations and incredible views make this a great second round for the day.

Eagle Ranch Resort

The views on Eagle Ranch can only be described as amazing. Lake Windermere, the Rockies on one side and the Purcells on the other frames this great golf challenge perfectly. It is set on the bluffs above the Columbia River where it meets Lake Windermere. A must play golf course for the first timer to the Kootenay Region.

Greywolf at Panorama

Greywolf is the type of golf course that has to be played to be believed. No two holes are anything alike with pristine bent grass tees, fairways and greens. Doug Carick is the designer of this incredible layout that offers up amazing views and a real challenge. Elevation changes, rolling fairways and undulated greens make this unforgettable course special.

Another one of Les Furber's amazing mountain designs incorporates the beauty of the amazing landscape. Elevation changes, sloped fairways and incredible dog legs make this unknown gem a must. Mountainside at Fairmont

product image

Mountainside is one of three golf courses that are located in the small resort town of Fairmont Hotsprings. Probably not as well known as its sister course, Riverside, the views on this property are fantastic. Some of the most spectacular peaks line the backside of Mountainside and make it a photographers dream. Come see why so many people come back year after year to enjoy the town of Fairmont.

Riverside at Fairmont Golf Course

product image

Awarded Canadian Golf Course of the year in 1998 this beautiful layout has earned numerous accolades and numerous return clients. The Columbia River plays a large part in the design of this great challenge as its waters flow through a large portion of the holes. The par 3 fifth hole is a challenging hole that forces the back tees to go over the water twice. The par 5 13th hole is shaped like a horseshoe and you'll need to be sitting on one to make birdie here.

Radium Springs Course

product image

Yet again Les Furber displays his ability to be in tune with the property he is designing. The Springs at Radium is a favourite throughout BC and Alberta and has the loyal return guests to prove it. Beautiful views of the mountains, hoodoos and marshlands captivate the eye and make it hard to concentrate on your round. The 6th hole is a smiley faced par 3's with the 13th demanding a carry over a ravine but none will forget the demanding 17th.
