This is a spectacular place to come play golf and if you want a really special treat look up Western Canadian Golf Tours. They'll provide you with a helicopter to shepherd you around. It's an absolutely wonderful way to travel around in this part of British Columbia. It’s really a brilliant idea for this part of the country which has so many amazing courses but which have some distance between them.

About Us

In the Beginning:

In 2004 Luke worked an enjoyable winter heli-skiing with Last Frontier at Bell Two Lodge on the Stewart Cassiar Highway. Spending many hours planning a golf tour company and talking with helicopter pilots and engineers led him to the idea of Heli-Golfing. After returning home to the Kootenay Rockies the hunt for the perfect accommodations, staff and home base began. Kimberley, British Columbia with its one stop light, four chairlifts and 63 hole of championship golf was the perfect fit for this new business venture. Situated in the midst of over 25 championship golf courses the helicopter is the perfect way to unpack in one location but enjoy many incredible golf challenges.

The Growing Years:

Western Canadian Golf Tours is constantly striving to continue to stay ahead of the competition and provide our guests with the most unique and exciting experiences. Our CPGA professionals are constantly improving themselves to be up to date with the latest technologies for instruction, equipment and style.

Our helicopter fleet is always growing as our providers, High Terrain Helicopters, has similar goals and objectives to stay current, fresh and new.
